Dolls have always creeped me out. Even till this day when I'm walking through Toys R' Us with my son, I can't walk through the doll aisle fast enough. All those vacant expressions staring at me, their lifeless gaze just gives me the heebie jeebies. I mean maybe it was Chuckie that ruined me but it's just always so dang creepy. Probably has a lot to due with they're modeled after humans yet just look so wrong at times, either way it always confused me why dolls were so popular. I'd rank them up there with Clowns on the level of being creepy.

And there are undoubtedly ways to make scary dolls even scarier. You could pluck out their eyes, give them weird haircuts, or paint some horrifying makeup on them to really layer on the fear.

Or, you could simply use a powerful cleaning agent on it, like this dad did. He inadvertently created something that looks like it came straight out of Leatherface's toy chest. His intentions were pure, just wanted to help his granddaughter out by cleaning her favorite doll to make it look brand spanking new, but it had some results that will likely send her straight to therapy:

When your dad tries to clean up your daughters Girls World with white spirit, but it completely takes the eyes out so he sticks some on from a magazine.

Before: regular creepy. Just your standard doll, nothing too odd.

After: pasting on cut-out eyes from a magazine, accidentally forming the worst doll face in the history of scary doll faces. This looks like a plastic surgery in Hollywood gone horribly wrong.

People were understandably freaked out. It's scary.

Others were reminded of similarly horrifying moments.

The unfortunate facial erasure was the perfect chance for some quality memes, too.

But it didn't take long for everyone to freak out again.

Seriously, keep that thing away from me. Straight out of my nightmares.
